Duo Castro Arias

The Dúo Arias Castro plays folk music from northwest of Argentina on bandoneon and guitar. With arrangements and compositions of their own, the Arias Castro duet performs
a repertoire of tradicional rythms like Chacarera, Zamba, Zamba carpera, Bailecito, Gato, Huayño. Santiago Arias (from Jujuy province) and Sebastián Castro (from Salta province) join in the music, with the dynamics of the land that raised them, through their instruments. Since all the rhythmic and harmonic elements are captured in a rigorous way
with a danceable character, this northern duet also invites you to listen and enjoy the subtleties that are in the contrapuntal aspect arrangement, respecting the musical root and exploiting the instrumental resources to the maximum.
